Beauty Without Cruelty

September 16th, 2009

Now I saw eye cream reviews for a product line called Beauty Without Cruelty the other day. I have personally been a long time fan, not because I’ve been particularly appreciative of some powerful and amazing formula. In fact, in my younger days when I first saw it, I didn’t know anything about what to look for in eye creams in general. However, in finding out about eye creams and even delving into some of my own eye cream reviews, I have obviously learned more and come across more in general. I like Beauty Without Cruelty because of their philosophy. They were from the start introduced on the basis of providing you with beauty without actually using animal testing, animal bi-products, you get the basic really good idea. So I’m a big fan. But while I would definitely suggest checking out some of their smaller products, in terms of serious products like eye creams, wrinkle creams, etc, you really need to find something else. I mean they have great philosophies yes. But philosophies don’t make a good eye cream in general. And they don’t have the right ingredients that would actually be required to produce or supplement more collagen and elastin and rebuild the skin in general.

Colonetix Is My Choice

September 15th, 2009

I have used a select few colon cleansers. But my favorite colon cleanser so far is called Colonetix. Colonetix is a pretty good colon cleanser that realistically helps you in various different ways, because it can help you to get rid of toxins, improve your body, supplement with vitamins and minerals, and various other things that you might not expect from a regular colon cleanser to say the least. I mean it has a number of patented ingredients. I see that in diet pills, but not in a colon cleanser. It’s just weird and something I would never actually expect. I mean a basic colon cleanser only needs certain ingredients. Yes the whole colon cleansing process does generally cause side effects. But you feel better after and your body is better after. It’s explained by the whole process of toxins leaving your body and not being too happy about it. But realistically speaking, Colonetix is a 2 step process that actually helps to eliminate those particular side effects, which is why I am more impressed with it generally speaking. I’m not a big fan of going overboard in your compliments. But Colonetix definitely deserves some real attention, and without question, it’s something I would buy again and use again. It works fast, and for maintenance or otherwise, it’s without question worth whatever.

Do Weight Loss Pills Work?

September 14th, 2009

I have always wondered whether weight loss pills actually work. I mean it seems like nobody ever really buys the same weight loss pills twice, or at least rarely. I see the advertisements and the supposed testimonials. But some seem a bit ridiculous, and there was that lady who I don’t remember what product she used exactly, or it might’ve very well been a wrinkle cream for that matter. But she actually sued the company, because she had put her picture including her face on another website, and they had literally copied it. She obviously had a big problem with that and there was this huge to do. And others have been found to use for example prescription anti anxiety medications, which is really dangerous to say the least. I saw one that used a prescription weight loss ingredient, but that was one and still dangerous. I just have to wonder sometimes if weight loss pills are even worth it and realistically if they can work without putting you at a certain amount of risk. I definitely wouldn’t want to do certain things that way, and I can honestly say that well it’s hard to find them. But at the same point in time, I have seen success stories of my own and I have seen that it can work out if you do it right.

Soyscreen

September 12th, 2009

They call it soyscreen.  I wonder if it’s supposed to be a vegan alternative or something.  But anyway, they call it an alternative to sunscreen effectively speaking, and it is created by iSoy technologies in Peoria, Illinois.  They have been nominated for many environment related rewards and otherwise awards, and it has been developed using green chemistry, which explains a lot.  But frankly, most sunscreens use chemicals such as titanium dioxide.  Controversially, some of these, many of these not only damage the skin, they actually make the skin more sensitive in general terms to the sun, which obviously makes absolutely no sense at all.  On the other hand, soyscreen does not use any of these chemicals, and it doesn’t use anything that would damage the skin at all, just soybean oil.  It is debatable to some degree how well this ingredient would actually protect from the sun, and it’s debatable if it could really stand up as valid competition in terms of results.  However, what is not debatable is that this particular product is far safer than others, and in many ways it does not actually work against itself, which is always a good thing regardless of the various methods.

The Genetic Excuse

September 11th, 2009

I love the genetics excuse literally used for everything.  When we are fat, we say it must be genetics, when we look old before our time we say it must be genetics.  But of course, it’s not.  I mean not entirely at least.  This definitely doesn’t work when I see Asians who look extremely older than they are or for that matter those who are obese.  I mean it’s stereotypical of course, but how many fat Asians have you really seen before maybe a few years ago?  And moreover, all that I’ve seen for the most part always look younger than their years.  It’s partly good skincare and in many cultures staying largely out of the sun.  But there are only so much genetics can do.  I mean I’ve seen plenty of people who say that their family has always looked older.  But at the same point in time, I’ve also seen people who just used something as a moisturizer and sunscreen, and they looked younger than most people their general age with supposed genetics.  So I’m just saying, skincare is not a bad thing to defeat “genetics.”  It doesn’t take that much and realistically, how’s it really going to hurt you, even if you don’t end up looking 20 years younger than your age.

Wait Until After Menopause

September 9th, 2009

In general terms, I’ve known plenty of people who wanted get surgery on their face, they wanted to reduce wrinkles in that way and then they figured they would be alright.  It’s like knee surgery in a way, you want to wait.  Maintenance work is far greater when you start when you are young.  But frankly you should really wait.  There are some women who get breast implants or for that matter reductions.  I would say wait until after pregnancy pending the idea that you are going to have kids.  You never know how they will actually end up changing.  Likewise, if you are going to have a facelift, wait till after menopause.  I say this because you are spending a lot of money any way you look at it when you get a facelift.  One of the hardest times on your body is not during pregnancies, but actually during menopause.  Of course use a good wrinkle cream all along and then you may find you don’t need a facelift or want it at all.  But also, it will help you to avoid having to do it all over again at too soon a time.  If you age a lot during menopause, obviously you will feel like you have to fix something.  But if you wait until after, well then that’s just one procedure and difficulty to deal with rather than two or more for that matter.

Avoiding Aging

September 9th, 2009

While we love youth, sometimes we don’t exactly know how to keep it, and then we run desperately to try to reverse the process and damage once it’s already done.  So obviously, one of the best ways to do it is to moisturize while you’re young on a regular basis.  But also you could try spreading a little lemon juice across your face on a regular basis, it actually kills off free radicals and other harmful substances.  Likewise, you can do something as simple as adding fruits and berries to your yogurt and oatmeal or for that matter to your lunch.  Adding raisins or prunes to everything or using them as a snack can help, all of these because they have vitamins, nutrients, and antioxidants galore.  Adding mango to your salsa can add various benefits even though you already obviously have tomatoes in there, and of course make sure to make your own salsa for greater benefits, and of course make sure to drink more water and stay well hydrated.  These are all the easiest ways to change your lifestyle a bit to reduce the common signs of aging and other problems in general.  But they’re ones often forgotten about.

Anti Aging Is Simple

September 8th, 2009

I’ve noticed that quite recently actually, older individuals have started to look younger.  I mean back in my grandma’s day, they had certain benefits.  But my mom’s generation at least looks younger.  I’ve seen pictures of my grandma at the age my mom is now, and quite frankly I’ve also seen hereditary elements that would show what each should look like.  But it seems like while others tried to put in care before, the baby boomer generation is really the first older generation that has had so much available to them, meaning that if this younger generation really gets started while avoiding the whole sunbathing mentality of some older groups, we can definitely get optimum effects to say the least.  Frankly, real wrinkle fighting ingredients that actually work have only been recently introduced, which means that we have a foot up on them to say the least.  But they used things as simple as moisturizers.  They did things as simple as eating healthier diets with more fruits and vegetables.  Some have done things as simple as drinking more water.  Wrinkle fighting is not all that complicated, and the baby boomers seem to be the first ones to really figure that out and have certain opportunities in general.  But honestly, with so much at our fingertips now, I think future generations can do better.

Vitamin E

September 7th, 2009

If you are looking for the right kind of treatment, you should always look for vitamin E in its purest form or for that matter something that would have vitamin E in it.  Aging is of course a common part of everybody’s life.  But vitamin E can help you to prevent the unnecessary.  Vitamin E is an essential vitamin of course, and it is also a powerful antioxidant that will kill off free radicals that may easily harm the skin in general.  There have been studies that have shown that actually vitamin E has increased longevity of the body in general by preventing cell breakdown as a whole, and it obviously applies to the skin.  It apparently better delivers certain nutrients to the skin, and it can be found in various forms such as tocopheryl acetate for example.  There are some people who have taken as much as 20,000mg on a daily basis.  But chances are you won’t actually need to do that, not nearly that much unless you want to risk overdose among other things.  But it’s certainly easier in some ways if you are getting the right amounts to get various benefits that you want.

The Essential Vitamin, Vitamin E

September 5th, 2009

Vitamin E is a well known antioxidant.  It kills off free radicals, it is an essential vitamin.  That is all understood.  But there are other benefits of vitamin E that are not nearly as well understood to say the least.  Vitamin E for one thing can actually help the body to protect its stores of vitamin A.  Vitamin A is responsible for overturning and regenerating the skin cells and producing thicker skin.  So this is extremely helpful to wrinkle reduction.  Because of this in fact, along with its antioxidant abilities, it helps you to prevent premature wrinkles and refresh the skin in a way.  In addition, it helps to deal with sunburns and the skin damage in general associated with them.  Because of the vitamin A again, it can help you to reduce scars and stretch marks as well as age spots while actually reducing inflammation among other things.  There are various things that it can give you in terms of skin benefits and wrinkle fighting benefits.  You just have to ask about them to a certain degree.  And outside of that, of course vitamin E, as an essential vitamin has various other benefits that you can find if you are looking in the right places.
